RESEARCH

My research focuses on the development of computational software to extract quantitative information from microscopy datasets. My recent work involves the use of artificial intelligence approaches to better identify cells in images and to recognize cellular phenotypes. I currently have projects to demonstrate the use of these methods to study how bacterial cells react to adverse environmental conditions. I am also working on projects to increase accessibility of research opportunities for undergraduates using technology.

More details can be found at the Bioimaging Lab. Code that I’ve written for other projects can be found on Github.
